Hotel operations continue as normal

Spahotel Casino, Hotel Rantapuisto, and Hotel Oscar continue to operate normally under the administration of the bankruptcy estate.

Below you will find more information about the situation of Primehotels Oy and important instructions for customers. Accommodation and restaurant operations will continue for the time being at all locations under the administration of the bankruptcy estate.

Payment of reservations
Due to the bankruptcy, any reservation or advance payments made before 11 March 2026 cannot be deducted from the accommodation price.

Accommodation must be paid in full at the hotel.

If desired, reservations may be cancelled by notifying:
sales@primehotels.fi

Please note that reservation or advance payments will not be refunded.

Gift cards
Due to the bankruptcy, Primehotels Oy gift cards can unfortunately no longer be accepted as a method of payment.

Any unused value on a gift card may be submitted as a claim to the bankruptcy estate.

Submitting claims
If you have a claim against Primehotels Oy relating to, for example:

  • a cancelled hotel reservation

  • a reservation or advance payment made before the bankruptcy

  • an unused gift card

  • any other claim

we kindly ask you to submit your claim in writing to the bankruptcy estate at:
primehotels@hpp.fi

A claim notification must include:

  • the principal amount of the claim and interest calculated up to 11 March 2026

  • the grounds for the claim

  • any securities/collateral

  • the creditor’s name and contact details

The bankruptcy administration will assist with the submission of claims if necessary.

Primehotels Oy (Business ID 1801261-6) was declared bankrupt by decision of the Helsinki District Court on 11 March 2026.

The bankruptcy estate is administered by Attorney-at-Law Klaus Majamäki (HPP Attorneys Ltd).

Progress of the bankruptcy proceedings
At this stage, no estimate can yet be given regarding the duration of the bankruptcy proceedings or any potential distributions to creditors.

Further information about the progress of the bankruptcy proceedings is expected no earlier than summer 2026, once the estate inventory of the company’s assets and liabilities has been completed.
